Biography

Aurelia Violet Parks was born in October 1859 in Murray, Northumberland, Canada West. She was the daughter of William James Parks, farmer, and Mary Etta Maybee.^[1]

In the 1861 census Aurelia (age 2) was living with her parents and 2 siblings in Murray, Northumberland, Canada West.^[1]

In the 1871 census Aurilia (age 11) was living with her parents and 5 siblings in North Marysburgh Township, Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada.^[2]

When Arelia was 17 years old she married George Packard on 23 May 1876 in Murray, Northumberland, Ontario, Canada.^[3] Together they had one son, George William Packard (1877–1898), before his death in 1877.

In the 1881 census Aurilla (age 21) was widowed and living at her father's farm in Murray, Northumberland, Ontario, Canada with her parents, 5 siblings and her son George (age 3).^[4]

Aurelia Violet Packard (age 22), widow of George Packard, married Herman Fetterly on September 6, 1881 in Hastings, Ontario, Canada.^[5]
