Sarah Ann was born in 1850 in Hadlow, Kent, England^[1][2]

Sarah A. Parks, a servant, from Kent {England} departed from England 28th September 1874 and arrived in Picton, New Zealand on 11 January 1875^[3] on the same ship (The Carnatic) as the Tapp family and later married William in New Zealand.

Sarah Ann passed away in 1906. Sarah is buried in a small cemetery just west of Renwick.
