Moses was born in 1813. He was the son of George Parks and Elizabeth Sharp. He passed away in 1872.

  • 1850 NC census, Mecklenburg Co, microfilm page 76. Moses A. Page, age 36, and Nancy, age 34, have 3 children in the household. Elizabeth is 14 and Julia is 4. The other individual, William M. Park, age 14, is probably the son of James Park, the older brother of Moses Allen Parks.
  • 1860 NC census, Mecklenburg County, Charlotte Post Office, dwelling 148, family 148, microfilm page 38, line 9. M. A. Parks, age 46, and Nancy P., age 45, have 3 children living in the household. Julia S. is 14. The other 2 children, Mary R. Fincher, age 17, and John E. Fincher, age 15, may be related to the Parks family.
