A lot of confusion here. Many trees lists him as James Millard Parks, but I don't think that is correct by looking at his tombstone. I've read that he was born in GA and that they married in GA, but that is unlikely given that Mary was living in AR or TX at the time they married. We have no idea of his family of origin. Would love to find his origin.
