William was born in 1881. He was the son of William Parr and Eliza Newton. He passed away in 1926. [1]
1900 Enlisted for the Boer War. William Andrew Parr Private 305 C Squadron N.S.W. Citizens. ( Bushmans Contingent ). [2].
1900 June 27th William Parr wrote back to his parents which the Riverine Herald printed. [3]
William was invalided back to Australia 13/12/1900.
1903 William Parr jr employed as a mine supervisor in McPhail, New South Wales, when William Richard Tattersall was killed in that mine.[4][5]
1912 William returned to South Africa, via London, working as a mine supervisor then married divorcee Janet (Forrest) MacDonald in 1914 & had one son William Forrest Parr.
1926 Occupation at death - Miner at Apex Benoni, Transvaal.
