Biography

Thomas Parsons, of Gt. Milton, Devonshire, married Catherine Sydenham, by whom he had sons, Thomas 2nd, Hugh and Richard. Hugh m. a Pierpont, and had a son John of London. "Some of this family were among the early emigrants to America." Thomas 2nd, was the father of Sir Thomas Parsons Knt. who married 1614, Lady Catherine Ratcliffe of ancient lineage. (See New Eng. Thomas was born about 1583. He passed away about 1635.
