"5. JAMES PARSONS (James, Jeffrey) was born probably at Loddiswell, Devonshire, about 1632, and died abut 1708, according to the letter written by his daughter Elizabeth Morgan. He married at Loddiswell, 15 December 1657, ELIZABETH GEILES, who died about 1702 (letter). He was the second son James born to his parents, an earlier child of that name having been born in December 1622 and buried a couple of months later. Position of the other children in the family makes it unlikely that he was born before 1632.

ii. ELIZABETH, bp. 24 Feb 1662; m. FRANCIS MORGAN; living 1714 at Ashprington "near Dartmouth in Devon" and writer or the letter quoted in full above.

iii. IZABELL, bp. 18 April 1664; d. after parents but before 1714

iv. JOHN pb. 2 May 1668; d. after parents but before 1714

v. ROBERT, bp. 22 May 1671; d. after parents but before 1714

vi. SARA, bp. 1 Aug. 1675; living 1714
