Biography

Mary was born in 1681 - likely York County, Maine - to John and Elizabeth Parsons.

In the Vital Records of York we read: "Nicholas Cane his Children born in York of his Wife Mary the Daughter of John Parson viz. John born Nov. 14 1706; Abigail born Aug: 29 1708; Mary born Janu 19 1714/15; Joshua born March 19 1716/17; Mercy born Octo: 14 1719; Samuel born Nov. 30 1721; Elizabeth born September, 11 1724."

Mary Parsons Cane died in the 1750s - her widowed husband, Nicholas Cane, took as his second wife, the widow Sarah Gray Jellison in Berwick, Maine in 1756.
