Hattie was born December 9, 1867 in Port Greville, NS and died January 15, 1948 in Advocate Harbour, NS. Her maiden name is Parsons. She is the daughter of Joseph Parsons. Her mother was Olivia McCully, daughter of Lemeul McCully. Hattie was married to and widowed by Oscar Morris prior to her marriage to Joseph Rector in 1895.
