Catherine was born c1753 in Frederick County, Virginia, the daughter of unknown parents.

In 1776, when she was in her early twenties, she married Valentine Stalnaker in Randolph County, Virginia, and they had known children, five sons and two daughters:

2. Isaac Stalnaker
3. Rebecca (Stalnaker) Lorentz
4. Jacob S Stalnaker
5. Anna Stalnaker
6. Abraham Stalnaker
7. Sebastian Boston Stalnaker

In 1803, when she was about fifty years old, Catherine died of unknown causes in , Randolph County.
