She married Edward P. Younger in Gloucester, MA.

She passed away on March 18, 1917 in Gloucester, MA.

Obituary

Mrs. Augusta W. (Parsons), wife of Edward P. Younger, passed away at her home, 10 Acadia st., on Saturday after a long and painful illness at the age of 65 years, 2 months, and 21 days. She was a native of the city, her parents being Henry and Dorcas (Adams) Parsons and was a lineal descendant from Jeffery Parsons, the first settler of the name on cape Ann. Although an invalid for the past 28 years, she was a patient sufferer, never losing her cheerfulness, never repining and diffusing about the home a spirit of cheer and patience and resignation which won for the heats of all who knew her. She was a member of the Prospect Street Methodist Episcopal Church, and although debarred from participating in the activities of the church, was one of the most successful workers in many ways, being especially successful in securing financial aid. Besides her husband, she is survived be one son, Joseph R. younger and one daughter, Mrs. James Coffill of Essex and eight grandchildren. Her funeral will take place from her late home, 10 Arcadia street, on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. "Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on His genial Breast. There be His love o'ershaded, Sweetly my soil shall rest."[1]

The Funeral of the late Mrs. Augusta W., wife of Edward P. Younger, was held from her late home, 10 Acadia street and was largely attended by relatives and friends. Rev. G. Edward Allan, pastor of the Prospect Street Methodist Episcopal church, officiated and spoke in a beautiful manner. Rev. and Mrs. Fayette Nicholas were also present. The former pronounced the benediction while the latter spoke words of cheer. There were many beautiful floral tributes, among them being a handsome standing piece from the employees of the Boynton Coal Company where Mrs. Younger has been employed for 45 years. Mr. George Blanchard and Mrs. Ernest L. Curtis sand several of the most favorite hymns of the deceased. Burial was in the family lot in Wesleyan Cemetery.[2]

Burial
