John Pashley, Esq., Burgess of Rye[1] was born circa 1432 at of Thevegate, Smeeth, Kent, England; Age 21 in 1453.[2]
He married Louisa Gower, daughter of Thomas Gower, Esq. and Joan, before 1449; They had 1 son (William) and 1 daughter (Elizabeth/Isabel, wife of Reynold Pympe, Esq.).[3]
He married (2) Alice. No issue.[4]
From 1454 to 1455 he brought a case in Chancery as John Passhele esquire, son of Sir John Passhele, against William Haute and Thomas Bodulgate, esqs and Edward Clayton, priest, feoffees of his father, over property in Kent, Sussex and Oxfordshire.[5]
John Pashley, Esq., Burgess of Rye died on 20 November 1468 at of Pashley in Ticehurst, Fairlight (Frenchcourt), La Mote in Iden, & Rugges in Hastings, Sussex, England.
