Joseph served in the American Revolution. He was a Corporal in Captain John Robinson's company in Colonel William Turner's regiment from July 1781 to December 1781.[3][4]
Joseph married his second wife, Mary Cleaves, on 7 February 1803.[1][5]
Joseph applied for a pension based on his Revolutionary War service in 1832.[1]
Joseph died (age 86) on 17 October 1848 in Hamilton, Massachusetts.[1][6][7] Joseph Patch was mentioned on a memorial in Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, Essex County, Massachusetts, United States with a death date of 17 October 1848.[8]
Joseph Patch wrote his will on 6 September 1844. 31 January 1856. His will passed probate on 21 November 1848 in Essex, Massachusetts, United States.[9]
