Biography

Walter was born on September 13, 1908 in Woodstock, Ontario, the son of Walter Paterson (1875-1917) and Mary Jane Agnew (1876-1946).

He married Maureen Monica Sliney on August 10, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. Maureen’s actual name was Hannah Marie Sliney but she went by the name Maureen Monica (she legally changed it in April 1959). She was born on December 1, 1908 in Castletown, County Cork, Ireland and came to America in 1925 at the age of 17. She was a nurse at St Frances Hospital in Miami Beach.

Walter died on November 2, 1957 at St. Francis Hospital, Miami Beach, Florida. .
