Ursin Patin has French origins.

Ursin Patin, son of Antoine Patin III and Catherine Bossier, both of Pointe Coupee, was born about 1788 in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.^[1][2]

He was of the age of majority when he married Aspasie Guidry on 22 April 1816 in St. Martinville, Louisiana.^[3][4]
