1920 Census: Six month old Opal Patterson is living with her parents, Will E. (35) and Lina (20) Patterson, in Bluffton, Arkansas. Her grandfather, Thomas R. Patterson (69) also resides in the home.[3]
1 Jul 1935: Miss Opal Patterson, age 18, of Bluffton, Arkansas and Troy Smallwood, age 22, of Bluffton, Arkansas are married in Yell County, Arkansas.[4][5]
1940 Census: Opal (20) and Troy (27) Smallwood are living in Gravelly Hill, Arkansas with their son Bobbie Jeane (3).[6]
