Amanda Patterson was enumerated at Morganton Post Office, Fannin County, Georgia for the July 16, United States Census, 1870. She was noted as born 1863-1864 in Georgia and at home as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male James Patterson, female Esther Patterson, male Newton Patterson, male James Patterson, female Jane Patterson, female Julia Patterson, female Esther Patterson and male Samuel Patterson.^[1]

She was the mother of two children of which both were still living as seen in the image of the original census.
