Arthur Patterson was born in Ireland about 1683. He immigrated to British Colonial America in 1724. He was a blacksmith. He married Ann Scott and together they had nine children. He passed away about 1763 or 1765 in the Colony of Pennsylvania, British Colonial America.
Research Notes
According J.L.Ziegler in An Authentic History of the Donegal Presbyterian Church: Arthur and Ann Emmigrated from Ireland to British Colonial America in 1724. On further researching the issue, it appears that Ann Scott was born in the colonies and must have married after arthur emmigrated.

Founding Father of the Donegal Meeting House which later became the Donegal Presbyterian Church.
