Biography

Rebecca Patterson, daughter of James and Margaret (Agnew) Patterson, was born September 25, 1768 in Pennsylvania.[1]

Rebecca married James Scott in 1790. Their children were Hugh Scott born 1791, Margaret Scott born 1793, James Patterson Scott born 1795, John Scott born 1798, William Scott born 1800, and Jane Scott born 1803. James Scott died in 1806 and his widow married Col. James Agnew.

Rebecca (Patterson) Scott Agnew died January 28, 1827 and was buried in McConnellsburg Presbyterian Cemetery, McConnellsburg, Fulton Co., Pennsylvania.[2]
