Biography

Floyd Patterson was enumerated as son of the head of household in Justice Precinct 6, Shelby County, Texas for the June 11, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as born August 1887 in Arkansas. He was single and a farm laborer. Also included in the household are head M H Patterson, wife E N Patterson, son H H Patterson, son Eugene Patterson, son Myst Patterson, son Lee Patterson, daughter Dealy Patterson and daughter Eva Patterson as seen in an image of the original census.[1]

Floyd Patterson died November 29, 1942 in Shelby County, Texas.[2]

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[3] Floyd Patterson is buried at Powdrill Cemetery in Center, Shelby County, Texas, USA.[4]
