George Paterson was born in County Durham, England.

George was born in Hebburn, Durham, England, in 1909. He is the son of David Patterson and Elizabeth Little. George married Jane Trotter in Durham, in 1938. There appears to have been one daughter from the marriage, but have not found definitive proof yet. George passed away in 1996.
