Rochelle; born Sept. 23, 1833 in Preston, England, and learned his trade in Manchester, England; in 1857 came to Cincinnati, in 1859 came to Clarksville, Tenn.; in 862 came to Chicago; thence to Freeport; in 1867 removed to Oak Park; remained till 1874, when he came to Rochelle; married Elizabeth Duncan Feb. 18, 1861; she was born Feb. 18, 1845; have five children: Elizabeth G., Amelia, Wm., James A. and Fred.
