James C. Patterson, son of David F. Patterson and Martha (Price) Patterson, was born on 17 Aug. 1871 in Tennessee, USA.[1] He appeared on the census of 10 June 1880 in the home of his parents at Marshal County, Tennessee.[2]
He married Pearl Giles, daughter of Sam Giles and Mirion Drusilla (Preslar) Giles, on 27 Jan. 1897 at Marshal County, Tennessee.[3]
He was a farmer when he and Pearl appeared on the census of 20 June 1900 at Marshal County, Tennessee.[4] He was a proprietor of a feed store when he and Pearl appeared on the census of 9 Jan. 1920 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.[5]
James died on 10 Nov. 1931 and was buried at Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.[1]
