Birth and Parents

Joseph Patterson was born in Massachusetts.

Joseph, the only son and youngest of five children of Joseph Patterson and Mercy Goodenow was born on 27 August 1720 at Watertown, Massachusetts.^[1]

Marriage and Children

Joseph married Lydia Marean (could be Mareau), the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Clark) Marean on 10 May 1737 at Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts. ^[2]They had nine children born at Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts:
