Biography

Naomi Patton wed W. M. Peeler November 24, 1868 in Itawamba County, Mississippi.[1]

Norma Peeler was enumerated as wife at Precinct 3, Robertson County, Texas for the June 16, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as keeping house, born 1853 in Mississippi and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self William M Peeler, daughter Cora Peeler, daughter Pearl Peeler, son Riley G Peeler, daughter Elizabeth Peeler and daughter Maggie Peeler.[2]

Naomi Peeler was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Justice Precinct 6 (south part excl. Franklin School District), Robertson County, Texas for the June 4, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born July 1851 in Mississippi and had been married thirty-three years. She was the mother of eight children of which seven were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head W M Peeler, son Byron Peeler, son Bee Peeler, daughter Alma Arueth and granddaughter Effie Arueth.[3]

Naomi Peeler was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Justice Precinct 3, Robertson County, Texas for the May 21, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1852 in Mississippi and had been married forty-one years. She was the mother of seven children of which five were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William Peeler, granddaughter [daughter] Alice A Arnett and daughter [granddaughter] Effie Arnett.[4]

Norma Patton was listed as the mother of Pearl Tennie Dougan who died December 1, 1930 in Calvert, Robertson County, Texas. The father was listed as W M Peeler.[5]

Norma Satton was listed as the mother of B E Peeler who died June 20, 1932 in Falls County, Texas. The father was listed as William Peeler.[6]

Naomi Patton was listed as the mother of B. Japp Peeler who died August 26, 1953 in Texas. The father was listed as William Peeler.[7]

Naomi Patton Peeler is buried at Henry Prairie Cemetery in Henry Prairie, Robertson County, Texas, USA.[8]
