Susanna, daughter of Josias Payne, the elder, married William Heale, son of George Heale on 21 Jun 1771 in Goochland County, Virginia. Security was given by George Payne and/or Josias Payne. The witness was Bourn Price. George Heale, of Lancaster County, sent a letter of consent for his son's marriage.[1][2][3]

Research Notes
Susanna Thomason. [5] was in the original biography with nothing to support the reasoning of placement. I searched Find A Grave but found no profile that appears to be connected to Susanna (Payne) Hale/Heale. I looked at her FamilySearch profile listed in the sources and there was no link to a Find A Grave memorial, but I did find an Ann (Payne) Thomason who passed away in 1812 in Scott County, Kentucky. I believe the creator of this profile may have thought they were the same person. BJS
