Biography

Neva Jeanette Payne was born November 30, 1933 in Wolfe City, Hunt County, Texas to father Herschel Corbin Payne and mother Iva Lou Swindell.^[1]

Wolfe City—Neva Jeanette Payne Daniels, 80, formerly of Wolfe City and Celeste, died on April 18, 2014, in Fruita, Colorado. Neva was born on November 30, 1933, to Hershel Corbin Payne and Iva Lou Swindell Payne in Wolfe City. She was married to Charles Reed Daniels on July 5, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas; they had three children. Neva was a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, LuAnn Kiser and Stephanie Daniels; and son Bobby Daniels. Her graveside service was a noon on Saturday at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with the Rev. Jim Gatliff officiating. R. W. Owens and Son Funeral home of Wolfe City was in charge of arrangements.^[2]
