Biography
Harold Payne was born on 9 January 1893 in Louth, Lincolnshire, his father, Elmett, was 42 and his mother, Thirza, was 37. He married Elizabeth Carrie Oliver in 1925 in Salmonby, Lincolnshire. They had two children during their marriage. He died on 6 November 1975 in his hometown at the age of 82.
