Rutha married Mason C Sowder (born in Rockcastle, Kentucky, USA about 1835; died in Rockcastle about ~1880), son of John Maret Sowder and Mary Hackley.
Rutha died on 26 Apr 1885 in Rockcastle, Kentucky, aged 47.
