Biography
James Lorenzo Payne was born about 1862 and lived in Lawrence, Ohio all of his life.[1]. [2]
In 1882, he married Mary Alice Higgins. They had a daughter, Bertha in 1883. Sadly, Mary passed away the day after the child was born from a cerebral hemorrhage.[3]
He then married Martha King in 1889. They had five children. [4]
