Biography
Zebulon Payne, son of George Payne and Elizabeth Armfield, was born on 18 June 1812 at Wilkes County, North Carolina.[1]
He married Charity Martitia Lipps, daughter of Johann “John” Lipps III and Martha (Church) Lipps, on 23 July 1835 in Wilkes County, North Carolina.[1]
Zebulon died on 28 Feb. 1886 at Johnson County, Tennessee and was buried at Payne Cemetery, Forge Creek, Johnson County, Tennessee. His memorial has photos, biographical material and links to those of family members.[1]
