Biography
Patsy was born about 1799. In 1850, the census shows that James (57, VA) and Patsy (51, VA) were in Greyson County, Virginia with two children: Ada (11, VA) and William C (8, VA). James was farming and valued his real estate at $2,000.[1] There is a Morris Halsey (20, VA) and family next door who may be another son.
