DEATH
Mrs. Lemuel H. Johnson
Mrs. Lemuel H. Johnson, a lifetime resident of Emporia, died this morning in her home at 910 Rural St.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. They will be conducted by the Rev. W. Howard Holverson, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Dora M. Peak Johnson, the daughter of Mahundra and Margaret Jane Bailey [sic] Peak, was born Feb. 26th, 1881, in Emporia, and she was married in 1907 [July 31], in Emporia. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, who died Jan. 6th, 1948, and by six brothers, Claude, Fenton, Volney, Mahundra, Arthur and Alva Peak. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. E. H. Ace, 820 State St., and several nieces and nephews.
