Biography

Almira was born in 1801 in Connecticut. On 17 Mar 1828, she married Merrick Oaks in Pownal, Vermont[1].

The 1850 US Census finds the family living in Stamford, Vermont[2], as does the 1860 US Census[3]. Buried Houghton Cemetery, Stamford, Bennington County Vermont.
