Biography

Birth was registered as William Henry Pearce, but all other records (marriage, death, obituary, headstone, census) shows his names as Henry Rupert Pearce. His half-brother, born over 20 years later, was named William Howard, so it appears that he was never meant to use the name William.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Harry by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Harry:

Hi there - I linked Harry's mother Caroline to this profile, I do hope that's OK with you.

It's exciting to see someone working on profiles related to some I've worked on - if you would like any help with adding links to sources, I'd be happy to.
