May 29, 1704 -- date of John Hopkinson's will. John's will mentioned his wife Elizabeth, eldest son Jeremiah, youngest son John (under age), daughter Dorcas [Hopkinson] Spofford, daughter Elizabeth [Hopkinson] Jewett, and daughter Ann (under age). (Essex County Probate 308:256). [8]
PROBLEM NOT SOLVED / ERROR SPOTTED Nov. 15, 1715 - Elizabeth reportedly married second time to Dea. Daniel Wood of Boxford two years before her death. Daniel reported as the son of Daniel and Mary Foster. There is a record of an Elizabeth Hopkinson marrying a Daniel Wood in Rowley [9] PROBLEM - Dea. Daniel Wood, WikiTree Wood-1319, the mentioned second husband died before the marriage date seen (Sourced twice). Not good being dead and re-marring, just saying.
