Ruth was the daughter of Jonathan & Thankful (Benham) Peck

She married as his first wife Rufus Hoadley, son of Timothy & Mary (Harrison) Hoadley, on 28 May 1767 at Northford, New Haven, CT - their children were John, Jairus, Ira, Rufus II, Heli, Lemuel, Levi, Simeon, Ruth, Mary & Ann

After her death husband Rufus married Obedience Stevens about 1789
