Narrative Peder is found on the 1840 census as a 24 year old Journeyman weaver employed by Christian Jorgensen of Fodby, Soro, Denmark. Oddly there is a young daughter of Christian Jorgensen, age 5, in the same household named Ane Kirstine Jorgensen. When I next find Peder Jensen, aged 43, a weaver, in Bidstrup, Fodby Parrish, he is married to Ane Christine Christensen, aged 47. While entirely speculative, I speculate that his wife, Ane Christine Christensen, is the sister of Christian Jorgensen's wife. This speculation is prompted by knowledge that at this time children were most frequently named after close relatives, however, I have not found any documentation for this speculation.
Letter from David Palmer to Virginia Caughey dated October 29, 1980: states there were three children in this family (Jens, and Maren Sophia Pedersen are named, Inger (unnamed) is said to have died in Naestved. In the letter David is reporting information from Hannah Armstrong.petersen-1298

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Peder by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Peder:
