Biography

Jessie H Peeler was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Rivers Mill, Sharon Green Cove Springs, Clay County, Florida for the June 13, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as at school, born January 1884 in Florida and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Alice Peeler, son Hinton C Peeler, son Glover Peeler, son Josephus G Peeler and daughter Blanch E Peeler.[1]

Jessie A. Peeler wed Blomn O. Hunter August 15, 1906 in Duval County, Florida as seen in an image of the original marriage register.[2]

Jessie H Hunter was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Lake City, Columbia County, Florida for the April 27, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1884 in Florida and had been married three years. She was the mother of two children of which both were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Blooms O Hunter, daughter Mary Hunter and son William J Hunter.[3]

Jessie Hunter was enumerated as wife of the head of household at 224 2nd Street, Jacksonville Ward 8, Duval County, Florida for the January 7, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1885 in Florida and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Blooma O Hunter, daughter Mary Hunter, son William Hunter, daughter Alisa Hunter, daughter Blanche Hunter, daughter Edith Hunter, daughter Shirley Hunter and daughter Hellen Hunter.[4]

Jessie P. Peeler was listed as the mother of William M. Hunter who died June 28, 1924 in White House, Duval County, Florida. The father was listed as B. O. Hunter.[5]

Jesse P Hunter was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Fort White, Columbia County, Florida for the April 3, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1885 in Florida and married. She was first married at the age of twenty-one. She was a teacher (public school) as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Blaoma C Hunter, daughter Blanch Hunter, daughter Edith Hunter, daughter Shirly Hunter, daughter Hellen Hunter and son Joseph Hunter.[6]
