Biography

Mallard L Peeler was enumerated at The 82 District, Jefferson County, Georgia for the July 21, United States Census, 1860. He was noted as born 1846 in Alabama and having attended school within the last year as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male John C Bates, female Martha A Bates, female Maybelle Bates, female Ina E Bates, male James Peeler, female Amanda Peeler, male James M Peeler, male Jacob H Peeler, female Josephene Peeler, female Sarah M Smith and female Lelia A Smith.[1]
