Biography

Beatrice Peeler was born August 17, 1885 in Cameron, Texas to father Sen John Peeler and mother Lena Smith.[1]

Beatrice Peeler was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Austin, Travis County, Texas for the June 5, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as at school, born August 1885 in Mississippi and single. Also included in the household are head John L Peeler and wife Lena Peeler as seen in an image of the original census.[2]

Beatrice Pular wed Harry M. Johnston May 28, 1907 in Travis County, Texas.[3]

Beatrice Johnston was enumerated as daughter-in-law of the head of household at 439 Westmoreland Avenue, Houston Ward 4, Harris County, Texas for the April 18, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1886 in Texas and had been married three years. She had had no children as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Renzi M Johnston, wife Mary Johnston, daughter Hallie Russell, son Harry Johnston and servant Matilda Franklin.[4]

Beatrice Peeler Johnston died September 16, 1910 in Houston, Harris County, Texas.[1]

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[5] Beatrice Peeler Johnston is buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA, Plot: Section 3, Lot 883.[6]
