The 1900 census states he was born in February 1894, but this is a month after his mother died, so I placed his birth at her day of death. It was likely the cause of her death and otherwise he certainly couldn't have been born to her later than that.

1917 United States World War I Draft Registration Card??? this is for John Abraham Peeler born February 27, 1894 in Yell Arkansas, likely his mother's death date in incorrect and his birth date is in February
