Samuel Peler was enumerated as son at Benton County, Tennessee for the June 19, United States Census, 1880. He was noted as born 1878 in Tennessee and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Benjamin Peler, wife Nancy Peler, son John Peler, daughter Nancy Peler, son Leeander Peler, daughter Cela Peler and daughter Louisia Peler.^[1]

Samuel H Peeler was enumerated as son of the head of household in ED 7 Civil District 8, Benton County, Tennessee for the June 11, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as born November 1877 in Tennessee and single. He was a teacher as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Benjamon F Peeler, wife Nancy Peeler, daughter Louisa C Peeler, daughter Martha E Peeler, son Benjamon H Peeler and son Clitice E Peeler.^[2]

Sam H Peeler was enumerated as son-in-law of the head of household at Justice Precinct 7, Dallas County, Texas for the April 28, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1879 in Tennessee and had been married for a year. His occupation was life insurance as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William D Carnes, wife Nancy Carnes, son William A Carnes, daughter Velma Carnes and daughter Elizabeth Peeler.^[3]
