He was noted as born 1857-1858 in Mississippi as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Isaac Peeler, female Sophia Peeler, female Elizabeth Peeler, female Perinah Peeler, female Susan Peeler and female Fannie Peeler.^[1]

He was noted as a laborer, born 1858 in Mississippi and single as seen in this image of the original census.
