Margaret Brown was enumerated at Post Office Mills?, Township 15 Range 8, Attala County, Mississippi for the July 24, United States Census, 1860. She was noted as born 1835 in Alabama as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male John Brown, male Joseph F Brown, female Mary E Brown and female Sarintha A Brown.[1]

Margaret C Brown was enumerated as wife at Northeast, Attala County, Mississippi for the June 9, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as keeping house, born 1837 in Alabama and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self John R Brown, son Joseph F Brown, daughter Mary E Brown, daughter Cyrinthia E Brown, daughter Martha A Brown, son James A Brown, son William P Brown, daughter Laura F Brown, daughter Sarah M Brown, daughter Nancy Brown and daughter Maggie Brown.[2]

Margret Braun was enumerated as mother of the head of household at Beat 2, Attala County, Mississippi for the April 27, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1838 in Alabama and had been married fifty-seven years. She was the mother of fifteen children of which eleven were still alive as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William P Braun, father John Braun, nephew Ira Braun, niece Ollie Braun and nephew James Braun.[3]

Margurette Cynthia Peeler Brown is buried at Brown Cemetery in Ethel, Attala County, Mississippi.[4]
