Biography

James Pealer was enumerated at Upshur District, Upshur County, Texas for the December 12, United States Census, 1850. He was noted as born 1805 in South Carolina and a farmer with $1500 of value in real estate as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are female S Pealer, male W L Pealer, female Jane Pealer, female S Pealer and male John Alsup.[1]
