She was noted as born 1842 in Mississippi as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Wm R Peeler, female Elizabeth Peeler, male William Stovall [Peeler] and male John Stovall.^[1]

Mary Elliot was enumerated at Saltillo Post Office, Lee County, Mississippi for the August, United States Census, 1870. She was noted as born 1843-1844 in Mississippi and keeping house as seen in this image of the original census.
