Biography

Nelson J. Peete was born in New York in 1864 to Charles and Mary (Bowen) Peete. He is listed with his parents on both: the 1870 Census^[1] and the 1880 Census.^[2]

Nelson married Delia Benware in about 1886. They are listed together on the 1900 Census,^[3] the 1910 Census,^[4] and the 1920 Census.^[5]
