Nelson J. Peete was born in New York in 1864 to Charles and Mary (Bowen) Peete. He is listed with his parents on both: the 1870 Census[1] and the 1880 Census.[2]
Nelson married Delia Benware in about 1886. They are listed together on the 1900 Census,[3] the 1910 Census,[4] and the 1920 Census.[5]
Find a Grave has that Nelson passed away in 1922 and that is listed here to avoid error suggestions; but the New York State Death Index indicates he actually passed away on September 21, 1923:
