Pelham-86 Donna Pelham
Marta Irene Hicks, 40, died Sunday, July 23, 2000, in her Perrine St., residence. She was born Dec. 6, 1959, in Lafayette and was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1978 Harrison High School graduate and had attended Purdue University and Ivy Tech State College. For three years she was a duplication technician at Ivy Tech and had previously been a duplication technician at Purdue Krannert School of Management for 15 years. On July 7, 1980, she married Scott Hicks in Lafayette, and he survives. Mrs. Hicks was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Rebekah Lodge 807; she enjoyed reading. Surviving with her husband are twin daughters, Miranda Catherine Hicks and Morgan Carole Hicks, at home; her parents, Arthur and Carol Pellam of West Lafayette; and two brothers, Dan Pellam of West Lafayette and John Pellam (wife Alicia) of Clarks Hill. Service July 27 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Father Dan Gartland officiating; burial at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
