Biography

This profile describes Anna Pellett who became the wife of Richard Wheeler, then after he died she became the (second) wife of Jeremiah Wheeler. Very little is known about her, particularly her ancestry and birth location. Should credible data arise pertaining to Anna Pellett, this profile should be edited significantly.

Anna Pellett married twice, both at Stonington, Connecticut:

1) 25 Aug 1743, Richard Wheeler. They had at least 3, probably 4 children:
Patience Wheeler, b. 08 Apr 1745
Asa Wheeler, b. 21 May 1746
Joseph Wheeler, b. 23 Jan 1746/47
Hosea Wheeler, b. 20 Sep 1749 [See the extensive notes in his biography which identifies his probable biological parents, not those who adopted him in due course of sequential marriages.]
2) 11 Mar 1752, Jeremiah Wheeler. They had 6 children.

On October 3, 1770, the Probate Court for the District of Stonington, Connecticut, appointed Freeholders to covney a one-third interest in Jeremiah Wheeler's Estate to his wife Ann Wheeler.[1]

Anna (Pellett/Wheeler) Wheeler died 30 Apr 1772 at Stonington.
